What's the most appealing feature for young people when buying a car? Many might say it starts with looking trendy, followed by good handling and fuel efficiency. Today’s compact car could be a representative of that trend. It's a competitor from Honda, sometimes seen as the hatchback version of Gory. In this sedan that's still popular today, can Jingrui surprise us?

The front grille is definitely eye-catching. It features a large U-shaped design with a black interior and a chrome strip that stretches below the headlights. The halogen headlights come with lenses inside, giving it a modern look. The lower bumper has a sporty design, and the overall front face is quite striking.

The sides aren't particularly flashy, but the body lines are smooth. The waistline extends all the way to the taillights, and the wheelbase is 2600mm, which isn’t the best in its class. The middle floor in the rear is quite noticeable. The tail design, however, stands out with its through-type taillights that really catch the eye. The single-side exhaust at the bottom doesn’t give much sense of premium quality.

Inside the car, there's not much to impress. The center console feels cheap, mostly made of hard plastic. The low-end models have minimal features—some even lack a radio and use drum brakes. The three-spoke steering wheel offers little grip, making the driving experience feel underwhelming. It's hard to justify the price with such basic features.

Under the hood, it comes with Honda's Earth Dream 1.5L engine, producing 131 horsepower. It pairs with a five-speed manual or a CVT transmission. In real-world driving, it performs well—light and easy to handle, with smooth acceleration. It's ideal for city driving and offers a decent ride comfort. However, like many Honda entry-level cars, the suspension is stiff and noise insulation is poor. As speed increases, road noise becomes more noticeable, which fits the brand's budget-friendly image.

Fuel consumption is one of its strong points. According to real-world testing, it consumes around 6.1 liters per 100 kilometers, which is impressive for its class. The price range is between 8.99 to 12.79 million yuan, which is reasonable for a mid-size sedan. Its power and fuel efficiency are its main selling points, but the low configuration, thin paint, and poor damping and sound insulation make it clear that you're paying for the engine rather than the car itself. If you're looking for an ultra-budget hatchback, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re okay with some compromises. How many people would actually accept this? I’m not sure what others think.

Advantages: Stylish appearance, sufficient power, excellent fuel efficiency

Disadvantages: Low configuration, thin paint, poor damping and sound insulation
