However, industry sources said that in 2014, the real estate engineering market may become another focus of the development of the LED industry.

The engineering market is fierce and the low price is still the order of Nathan. In fact, there are no strict limits on what fields the project involves. According to industry practice, it can be divided into two kinds, one is the government-led municipal engineering, such as street lights, landscape lighting and energy-saving renovation of government offices. The other type is commercial lighting and refined interior lighting. The current hot items are mainly concentrated in the energy-saving renovation and refined decoration projects of shopping malls, supermarkets, offices, hotels and factories.

Zibo believes that as the Ministry of Science and Technology promotes the "Ten Cities and Ten Thousand Cities" initiative to promote LED street lamps, LED lighting products have accelerated into the engineering market. This has also allowed the LED industry to keep abreast of the engineering market and grow in the field of municipal street lamps. After the stamina faded, the replacement of municipal street lights in other engineering areas began to rise rapidly.

However, the reporter also learned that many lighting companies do not have obvious advantages. There is only one “weapon” for the project—low ​​prices. "Which channel is cheaper to use, which can be used, if you can use general-purpose lighting, you will definitely not need to customize lamps. In some enterprises, the quality standards of lamps sold in engineering channels and retail channels are not the same, or even vary greatly. These are unspoken rules of the industry. "Zibo said.

The honorary director of the China Illuminating Society's indoor lighting committee, Ren Yuanhui, believes that gas stations, toll stations, light box advertisements, stations, airports, and military fields may be the focus of future LED engineering channels. “There are many places in these places that have begun to use LEDs. Developers should pay attention to LED products in the interview, the China Real Estate News reporter also found that as a part of the LED engineering market real estate developers, the awareness of LED products, attention is not high. Especially in the field of interior lighting with fine decoration, developers generally do not regard LED products as their preferred products.

It is understood that for the indoor lighting market, the current industry is still more choice and design company, decoration company cooperation, there are companies directly with the real estate business cooperation, such as the introduction of Vanke launched a lot of fine decoration units use LED lamps. However, due to various factors, this cooperation has not been launched on a large scale, but the industry generally believes that refined decoration must be a development direction for future LED products.

However, the cooperation did not finally reach the end, because the price was too high. "Although the price has dropped, but compared with energy-saving lamps, LED products are still higher than the price nearly 1 times. Coupled with the sensitivity of affordable housing, so this concept eventually failed to achieve." Zibo said.

However, at the same time, Zibo also stated that the temporary non-use of security housing does not mean that other real estate projects are not suitable. “Actually, due to the integrated and modular nature of LED products, it is particularly suitable for the current trend of industrialization of houses. In the long run, LED products still have a certain price reduction space. At present, there are many LED companies that want to contact developers. The industry generally believes that this is a good channel for rapid market entry. In 2014, LED lighting products should be able to make a difference in the real estate engineering market."
