Design of ECG monitor based on Linux and MCU

The ECG monitoring system provides an effective means for the diagnosis and treatment of heart patients, and has great significance for the prevention and diagnosis of heart diseases. Electricity conducts convenient and quick monitoring, finds abnormal conditions in time and takes effective measures, so as to better protect people's health.

1 Hardware system design

This system uses the S3C2440 processor as the control center. The S3C2440 is a 16 / 32-bit RISC embedded processor based on the ARM920T core. The maximum frequency can reach 532MHz. It provides 64MSDRAM, 64M Nand Flash and 2M Nor Flash storage devices. Instruction cache and 16kB data cache, LCD controller, 3-channel asynchronous serial port, SPI synchronous serial port, 117-bit general-purpose I / O port, 1 internal clock, 8-channel 10-bit ADC, touch screen interface, Ethernet controller, PCMCIA interface, USB interface, etc., with high performance, low power consumption, high cost performance and other characteristics, mainly used for video conferencing, network monitoring, GPS positioning / navigator, etc., especially medical electronic equipment. The overall hardware structure of the system is shown in Figure 1, which can realize the functions of ECG signal acquisition, processing, display, and storage.

2 Software system design

2.1 Build embedded Linux

The development of ECG interface is based on MiniGUI embedded Linux system. In various embedded operating systems, Linux is clear with its structure

Clear, open source code, powerful, easy to transplant and widely used. This system kernel uses 2. 6 version of the kernel, Linux 2. 6 The core has greatly improved in performance, module support, availability, and scalability. A complete embedded Linux system mainly includes three aspects: BootLoader (bootloader), kernel and root file system. In this system, the bootloader adopts ViVi, and the file system adopts Yaffs. According to the actual needs of the target platform, cut and configure the boot program, kernel and file system, and finally burn the compiled ViVi and the generated image file of the Linux kernel and file system into the platform and run it. The embedded Linux is built. .

2.2 MiniGUI

MiniGUI is a lightweight graphical user interface support system based on Linux. It was developed by Wei Yongming, a former teacher of Tsinghua University, following the GPL convention. The supported operating system is not limited to Linux, it can also run on systems such as uClinux, uC / OS-â…¡, eCos, and Vx-Works. Verified hardware platforms include Intel x86, ARM (ARM / AMR9 / StrongARM / xScale), Power-PC, MIPS, M68K (DragonBall / ColdFire), etc. To transplant MiniGUI, first download MiniGUI source code libminigui-1. 6. 10. tar. gz (MiniGUI function library source code) and minigui-minigui-res-1. 6. 10. tar. gz (resources used by MiniGUI, including basic fonts, icons, bitmaps and mouse cursors), then compile and install and copy MiniGUI resources to the target platform, and finally modify / etc / MiniGUI of the target platform. cfg file to configure the operating environment of MiniGUI on the target platform.

 The initial design of indoor fixed installation Led Display Screen mainly designs the size and model of the screen body according to the site conditions. The screen body size can be designed as 16:9, 2:1 or 4:3, etc. if the scene requirements are relatively long, multi screen display or screen cutting display can be designed. The screen model is generally based on the closest distance between the front row audience and the screen. Generally, the product of what model is used for the distance of how many meters, such as pH4 for the distance of 4 meters, pH2 for the distance of 2 meters, etc. Such a choice is also the most cost-effective.

  5. The cost is low, because there is no need to move, so the case structure is not needed, which greatly saves the cost of the box;          

 6. Various installation methods, including wall type, hanging installation, vertical installation, inlay installation, cantilever installation, etc. are selected according to the scene. Each installation method corresponds to different designers.      

  7. Different use scenarios can be used in one side, two sides, three sides or even more.          

 Application scenario: large airport, hospital, hotel, banquet hall, 4S shop, sales office, etc.

 Screen structure: indoor fixed installation screen adopts high-strength magnetic absorption structure, with good front heat dissipation effect, no fan structure, no noise. Screen frame can be selected according to customer's requirements, such as black titanium, rose gold and so on. The inner part of the screen has been assembled with wire, and the outer part only needs to be connected with network cable and power cable.          

 Precautions: the screen body is not waterproof, and it can prevent sharp things from bumping.
