The National Development and Reform Commission officially announced the elimination of incandescent LEDs.

Today, the National Development and Reform Commission announced the roadmap for the elimination of incandescent lamps. It is clear that from October 1 next year, China will ban the import and sale of ordinary lighting incandescent lamps of 100 watts or more. In addition, the National Development and Reform Commission revealed that it is working with the Ministry of Finance to develop a policy to encourage the promotion of LED lights. It is expected that the industry's output value will quadruple within five years.

Stop selling 100-watt incandescent lamps next October

The roadmap announced this time is basically consistent with the relevant consultation draft issued by the previous National Development and Reform Commission, and identified five stages of the elimination of Chinese incandescent lamps.

The National Development and Reform Commission said that from now until next year, September 30 is a transitional period. On October 1, 2012, the first ordinary lighting incandescent lamps of 100 watts and above will enter the phase-out period. After two years, ordinary lighting incandescent lamps of 60 watts or more will be banned. And sales, from October 1, 2015 to September 30, 2016 for the mid-term evaluation period, on October 1, 2016, 15 watts and above general lighting incandescent lamps were discontinued.

The elimination of incandescent lamps will be conducive to energy conservation and emission reduction. According to estimates, China's lighting electricity consumption accounts for about 12% of the total electricity consumption of the whole society. According to the roadmap for the elimination of incandescent lamps of the National Development and Reform Commission, high-efficiency lighting products are used to replace incandescent lamps. It saves 48 billion kWh of electricity and reduces the capacity of carbon dioxide emissions by 48 million tons per year.

China is a big country in the production and consumption of lighting products, and the output of energy-saving lamps and incandescent lamps ranks first in the world. Before the release of the incandescent light roadmap, China began to implement China's green lighting project as early as 1996. The output of energy-saving lamps increased year by year. The production ratio of energy-saving lamps and incandescent lamps increased from 1:34 in 1996 to 1:2010 in 2010. 1. The market share of energy-saving lamps has increased from 20% in 1996 to 85% in 2010.

According to the National Development and Reform Commission, according to the phase-out plan, it is estimated that the output value of the lighting and electrical industry will be increased by about 8 billion yuan, and about 15,000 new jobs will be created.

LED lighting companies are enjoying major benefits

The elimination of incandescent lamps this time will be a major positive for fluorescent lamps and LED lamp manufacturers. After the news of the NDRC's announcement of the roadmap, the LED lighting sector continued to rise, ranking fourth in the gains yesterday with a 1.94% gain.

At the press conference, Xie Ji, deputy director of the Department of Development and Reform of the National Development and Reform Commission, clearly stated that the government will vigorously encourage the production and promotion of LED lights.

Compared to incandescent and fluorescent lamps, LED lamps are currently not dominant in price. Xie said, "LED lighting is the principle of semiconductor lighting, which can avoid the problem of stroboscopic flashing of fluorescent lamps. However, as a new generation of light source, the price is still relatively high, and it will take some time to be accepted by the market. In order to pay attention to this vision problem, on the one hand, we It will speed up the improvement of the quality of fluorescent lamps, and on the other hand, it will promote the promotion of LED lamps."

Xie said that compared with fluorescent lamps, LED lamps have little pollution and long life. The NDRC will give new support to such new light sources. "We are now working with the Ministry of Finance to study and formulate policies to encourage LED lights. I hope that they will be released soon." Xie Ji also revealed that the development plan for LED lighting in the 12th Five-Year Plan is currently being drafted. It is expected that the industry will quadruple its output value within five years. .

Xie said that the seven strategic emerging industries proposed by the state, the energy conservation and environmental protection industry ranked first. "In the energy-saving and environmental protection industry, semiconductor lighting technology, that is, LED lighting occupies an important part."
