Hisense Electric: intelligent first year profit of 4.285 billion yuan

Shortly after Haixin Electric forecasted that its net profit would double in 2011, its parent company, Hisense Group, released its 2011 annual results on the 18th: its operating income was 71.6 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 12.29%; and its profit was 4.285 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 16.74%.

2011 is the first year of the "intelligent" implementation of Hisense Group's efforts to strengthen technological innovation and promote smart strategies. According to data from China Excel, from January to November 2011, the cumulative sales volume of Hisense LCD TVs was 15.68%, and the cumulative sales of Hisense Smart TVs was 19%, ranking first in the industry in China. Thus, Hisense Electric appliances have ranked first in sales of flat-panel TVs nationwide for 8 consecutive years. At the same time, with the accumulation and advancement of intelligent technologies, Hisense Communications' information segment has grown strongly, and the smart bus industry continues to maintain the industry's No. 1 nationwide, and the scale of Hisense's communications and optical communications continues to grow.

It is reported that this is the first annual "report card" for the Consumer Electronics giant this year.
