Advantages of Polycrystalline Solar Panels
The process used to make polycrystalline silicon is simpler and costs less. The amount of waste is also less on the panel itself because of the way the silicon wafers are applied to the panel.

China Machine Tool Industry Association Spindle Branch successfully changed
On November 23rd, the 4th General Meeting of the China Machine Tool & Tooling Industry Association Spindle Branch (Spindle Branch) and the first council session of the fourth term were held in Luoyang. Attendees included over 40 representatives from more than 20 member companies. The event was attended by Mao Yongfeng, Executive Vice Chairman of the China Machine Tool & Tooling Industry Association, and Zhang Yanjun, Director of the Organizing Department. The meeting successfully concluded its agenda and transitioned to the new leadership structure.
A photo of the event is shown below:

For over 30 years, the Spindle Branch has played a crucial role in promoting the development of the spindle industry. In recent years, private enterprises such as Guangzhou Minzhi Electromechanical Co., Ltd., Wuxi Bohua Electromechanical Co., Ltd., and Jiangsu Xingchen High Speed Motor Co., Ltd. have significantly contributed to the growth of the sector. Currently, there are three companies with annual production values exceeding 100 million yuan, and the industry has gradually formed competitive clusters. The product range covers nearly all spindle application areas, supporting domestic machine tools and major projects while challenging the dominance of imported products. This progress provides essential support for the automation and numerical control of China’s equipment manufacturing industry.
During the leadership change session, Zhong Hong, the Secretary of the branch, reviewed the work of the third session of the Board of Directors. He outlined the achievements made, identified existing challenges, and proposed valuable suggestions for future efforts. The meeting then proceeded to elect the new leadership of the fourth board of directors.
The newly elected leaders include:
- **Chairman Unit**: Luoyang Bearing Research Institute Co., Ltd.
- **Chairman**: Wang Jinghua
- **Vice Chairmen**: Wuxi Bohua Electromechanical Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Haozhi Electromechanical Co., Ltd.
- **Nine Directors** (including the above three)
- **Secretary-General**: Chen Yangtze River
- **Deputy Secretary-Generals**: Zhu Jisheng and Yu Yongjun
Wang Jinghua expressed his hopes that the new council would unite industry expertise, build a collaborative platform, and elevate the development level and competitiveness of the domestic spindle industry.
In his closing remarks, Mao Yuefeng, Executive Deputy Director of the association, emphasized that the re-election provided an opportunity to upgrade the original Spindle Functional Components Committee into a full-fledged branch. This reflects the growing importance of the spindle industry. He encouraged the new branch to foster unity among industry players and pursue shared growth. Mao also highlighted the current state of the industry and shared the association's vision for the development of machine tool functional components.
He noted that the machine tool industry is currently undergoing structural upgrades. The spindle industry must leverage this potential by building collaborative platforms and striving for win-win outcomes. It is essential to recognize the gap between domestic and imported products and identify key development directions. The association will fully support the Spindle Branch in creating an effective exchange platform across industries and facilitating communication between the spindle sector and machine tool manufacturers.
