Support PS VR "Ace Combat 7" E3 Chinese video release
Yesterday, Bandai Namco unveiled the Chinese version of "Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown" on their official website. The game is set to launch on three major platforms: PS4, Xbox One, and PC. However, the VR version will only be compatible with PSVR. While no exact release date has been announced yet, it’s expected to hit shelves sometime next year, with the Traditional Chinese version coming out simultaneously.
From the promotional videos, we get a glimpse of the game's storyline, which revolves around a conflict between Algeria and a fictional Western European country. Initially planned for release in 2017, the developers decided to delay it until 2018. The game will be available across all major gaming platforms including PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
Attached is an image from one of the trailers showcasing some of the game's impressive graphics. In recent updates from foreign media outlets, producer Yono Ichiro mentioned that the game will feature around 30 operable aircraft. Each of these planes was designed from scratch to ensure they meet the demands of next-gen platforms. Additionally, while the VR content doesn’t overlap with the main storyline, it adds significant depth and appeal for VR enthusiasts. The game promises to offer a substantial amount of gameplay, making it a compelling experience even beyond just its VR elements.
As someone who’s always followed the Ace Combat series, I’m particularly excited about the attention to detail and the effort put into creating such immersive experiences. It seems like this might just be one of the most anticipated games of the year!
