Like the SXSW Festival, the Tribeca Film Festival has been pushing the boundaries of virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR) content to showcase more imaginative and thought-provoking content through its Tribeca Immersive program. Today, the festival announced its virtual arcade lineup, which includes 21 world premiere VR/AR exhibits and five Storyscapes competition experiences.

This year's products include 33 virtual reality exhibits and experiences from top creators such as Jeremy Bellenson, Chris Milk, Elisa McNette, Eugene Ike, and Canada. B. Alao and Sasca Uzed, as well as emerging artists Asad J. Malik, Gabriela Arp, and Lucas Rizzotto.

In addition to the virtual arcade, the Tribeca immersive game will also serve Tribeca Cinema360, launching a virtual reality theater that will launch four select 360 mobile content filters from April 21-28, 2018.
